The role

You will be a .NET C# Developer with competent level of experience in development of digital software using Umbraco, .NET Core, MVC, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular/React, SQL Server and Agile.

You will be expected to perform as a mentor and knowledgeable resource for Create and clients. This position requires knowledge and application of the firm’s visual identity and the team member will understand and anticipate clients’ needs and expectations.
Working remotely, onsite with a client project team, or in the office, providing a valuable service to our KPMG clients. Output is frequently high profile; the quality, accuracy and timeliness of the end product is therefore of critical importance.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as part of the Create digital team to produce high-quality deliverables to the whole firm. We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced developer with over 5 years of professional experience, ideally with experience in working for a corporate company like KPMG. You would have a history in digital and multimedia. A problem solver able to deliver solutions for client requirements. You are renowned for accuracy and attention to detail as well a relaxed temperament and great interpersonal skills.
The Person
Your responsibilities will include leading end to end Umbraco projects and backend development. Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams. Must have excellent experience in Umbraco Programming, developing functionality and applying designs to themes. Must be able to create Custom Modules/Widgets.
Strong experience in designing and working with MVC framework, entity framework, linq or n- tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) will be an added advantage.
Must be strong in applying html and CSS prepared by the UI designer to the .NET code. Working knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like angular, node.js, Backbone.js, Dojo, knockout, etc will be an added advantage.
Lengthy experience developing responsive and non-responsive HTML applications ranging from small business-to-business presentations to large corporate projects.
Skills Must haves

Excellent knowledge of Umbraco CMS, HTML, Bootstrap, SCSS, JS, C# / .Net / .Net core, ASP.Net MVC, Umbraco 8, 9, 10, AngularJS, SQL Server and web-services. Experience in desktop & mobile applications.

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an Umbraco developer, developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible web applications.

Comfortable using Git and Visual Studio, experience with build tools such as Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack (We use Webpack)

Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue, Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery

Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing
