Work as a part-time 18T driver for the Special Carrier

Drive 18T vehicles safely throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland

Be confident in driving a 18T vehicle in both urban and rural areas

To professionally load and unload 18T vehicles

Make sure all transported goods are not damaged

To carry out the daily checks on the 18T vehicle you are driving to ensure safety and follow the appropriate procedures if not

Good customer service when communicating with clients

Represent the company when on the job

Complete all delivery paper-work when required, verify the delivery with our clients to ensure it is correct, noting any errors/returns accordingly

Willing to be contacted on short notice for a new job

Plan routes accordingly and meet delivery schedules

Report your status to the office when you have reached the next stage in delivery

Inform the office of delays as necessary

Willing to change delivery schedule to comply with the client's needs

Willing to work in a team, some jobs require double-manning
