System Integration and Test Engineers
Locations: We are recruiting in Crawley, Cheadle (Greater Manchester), Templecombe (Somerset), Reading, Belfast, Glasgow and Bristol.

What’s on offer?
The Thales UK Engineering function is going through an exciting period of change and growth and we would love you to be a part of the team. The primary purpose of this position is to work as part of a project team to implement a project IVVQ plan.
As a Systems Integration, Verification, Validation and Qualification (IVVQ) Engineer you will focus on the ‘right hand side of the V’ to deliver solutions to customers in both our Civil and Military domains.
Supporting one or more projects, in a domain (may be Land, Sea or Air products)
You will be accountable to the IVVQ Engineering Manager on the project/program. As a practitioner/expert in Systems Integration, you will have a wide range of responsibilities depending on the specific tasks in hand. The responsibilities typically include the following:
- Support definition of IVVQ strategy and generation of associated estimates and schedule
- Propose IVVQ testing methods, acceptance criteria and manage their implementation,
- Clear and timely communication of design non-compliances to the team and wider internal/external stakeholders,
- Lead IVVQ activities either on-site or at the customer’s premises to deliver the evidence of requirements compliance,
- Prepare System Integration Verification Validation & Qualification activities,
- Analyse test results and/or data and produce technical reports,
Experience needed:
- Good knowledge of Systems Engineering, Design, Verification and Validation and of complex Systems and sub-systems in Land. Sea and Air domains and a proven record working in a Systems IVVQ environment.
- Experience of generating tests cases to verify systems
- Excellent communications skills, both verbally and written, with the ability to present and explain technical and complex problems, tailored appropriately for the audience
- Ability to work in a multifunctional teams
