Salary: £10.90 p/h unqualified & £11.15 p/h qualified

Langdon UK have exciting opportunities for Support Workers to join their growing team in Prestwich, Manchester.
Langdon was founded 30 years ago and we now help over 100 young Jewish people with learning disabilities by providing education, supported living and employment services. Whilst we support the Jewish community, we celebrate and benefit from the diversity of the communities in which we are based and welcome applicants from all backgrounds
About the Role
The role will include supporting our members in designing and developing their support/care plans and providing social, health and personal care. Support Workers will be expected to work flexible hours which will involve working early and late shifts, including sleep in’s, weekends and bank holidays in accordance with member need.
The successful candidate will be required to work individually and as part of a team to support and enable individuals to live as independently as possible by assisting individuals to develop new and existing skills. They will also be responsible for working with our employment team to facilitate employment opportunities, and with our programming team to assist and support our members to enjoy an active social life.
About You
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, you must have a good standard of written English. Previous experience of working with adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism is desirable but not essential. Full training will be given to the successful applicant.
