We are recruiting for our Floating Support Service in Bishop Auckland and Peterlee, where we support people with a mental health needs within their own home or out in the community.
Support Worker Duties:
- Providing personal care, and practical and emotional support to people with mental health needs
- Identifying and accessing opportunities for social inclusion with service users
- Working with service users in a recovery-focused way, in line with their individual support plans
- Collaborating with service users, families, and involved professionals to provide a consistent and coordinated service that meets the needs of service users
- Assisting the line manager with the day-to-day running of the service
We have an array of hours available, so can provide full time, part time, and relief roles depending the levels of experience that you have.

Experience is not mandatory for this role as we provide full ongoing training in all aspects of the job, however, we do welcome anyone with previous care, support work or NHS experience. Our training is provided by the Creative Academy who recently received the Investors in People GOLD award for the wonderful work that they do.
Drivers would be preferred but are not essential.
