As a Social Media Team Leader, you will get to work with multiple departments while working on real projects that will help us and you grow. Responsibilities:
The role requires the ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects and initiatives while maintaining a positive attitude and energy. The Social Media Team Leader must have strong creative and professional writing skills and will work with the team to brainstorm and create social initiatives to grow the assigned communities.
The goal of the Social Media Team Leader is to support the Director of Operations in managing all department processes, policies, procedures, contractual compliance, work product advancements, and profitability with their assigned team to ensure that The AD Leaf standards are being consistently applied and maintained.
What We Require:
- Background in Marketing, Communication, or other related disciplines.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite Office.
- Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.
- Creative and Flexible.
- Familiarity with social networking sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and software tools in support of these channels.
- Interested in the issues of equal access to learning resources and generally socially conscious individual
- Interest in diverse client management and the outstanding ability to mono-task in a multitasking environment
- Create daily content for multiple social media platforms across different industry verticals
- Build social media creative imagery for daily content
- Measure and optimize content based on analytics
- Assist in developing social media program initiatives to improve community size and engagement
- Communicate with the team on a daily basis to maintain awareness of updates and offerings
- Find and implement new social strategies, tools, and tactics as they develop
- Become fully immersed in clients' brands and cultures
Candidate Objectives & Job Specifications/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (marketing or related field preferred, but we will consider a candidate with commensurate experience)
- Experience in a marketing role or internship preferred
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Tangible leadership experience
- Exceptional sense of creativity
- Strong familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms, including; Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more
- Experience with Photoshop and other graphic design programs is preferred
- Ability to ask questions and learn new skills quickly on the job; be a self-starter
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects
- Motivation to take responsibility and ensure successful outcomes across activities; be a driven team player
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
- Basic HTML and video production skills a plus
