About the Department & Team

The LSM Digital Transformation Team reports into the Chief Digital Transformation Officer and
works closely with the Global Risk Solution (GRS) technology teams to deliver innovative
solutions and capabilities that leverage our technical expertise and business understanding and
partnerships to enable market-leading performance world-wide.

The Regulatory, Risk and Business Process portfolio, deliver major initiatives, small
enhancements and business as usual support to the Regulatory and Risk function and also
delivery support to Operating Model initiatives that touch on cross functional areas.
A key area of focus is to support our Regulatory and Compliance function in delivering
capabilities that enables us to have effective Risk Management across the organisation,
including operational and to deliver tools that provide our compliance tools to support their
policies and frameworks.

LSM are progressively implementing Agile practices and seeks to recruit an Advanced Scrum
master to support the portfolio, ensuring they work with the team to ensure business needs are
understood and met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Works with Product Owner to establish a vision and road map to deliver the outcomes of
  • the programme of work, facilitate the breaking down of initiatives and Epics in to regular
  • cycles of delivery and improve the predictability of delivery
  • Supports team in the facilitation of the sessions that take the team from goals to story
  • creation and implementation
  • Works with Product Owner to ensure the relevant stakeholders are aligned with the vision,
  • delivery and progress of delivery
  • Facilitates team level ceremonies using scrum facilitation methods and techniques
  • Supports the removal of blockers/impediments in the delivery of outcomes, including
  • collaboration with teams outside of delivery teams, across technology and all areas of the
  • business
  • Ensures the change management components are part of the delivery in addition to the
  • product and business change delivery
  • Works as a team in ensuring risk and dependency management is used is integrated as
  • a component of the ongoing and successful delivery of the backlog
  • Uses retrospectives and other Lean-Agile techniques to implement small changes that
  • lead to demonstrable improvement for the team
  • Understands the importance of establishing trust and the need to remain neutral when
  • facilitating
  • Assesses the Agile/Scrum maturity of the team and helps identify areas where coaching
  • may be needed to foster improvement
  • Builds knowledge and understanding of the product being delivered and seeks
  • opportunities to contribute towards the business goals and outcomes
  • Develops skills to observe and provide consistent and impactful feedback
  • Seeks to understand the current mindset and practices and how that aligns or deviates
  • from the desired change
  • Helps team internalize fundamentals of relevant Agile values, principles, and practices
  • Guides and coaches the team on how to use Agile/Scrum values and practices to delight
  • customers and achieve business outcomes

Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience in acting as a scrum master within a team
  • Scrum Master certification
  • Experience of working with delivery teams aligned to agile ways of working and creation
  • of business value through business and technical change initiatives
  • Strong problem solver with ability to work with a team to maximize progress, potential
  • and overall effectiveness
  • Delivering API's
  • Awareness of risk and regulation space
  • Experience of working with global users
  • Excellent stakeholder management
