Water Solutions is seeking a Sales Leader – Project business (UF/MBR/RO) - UK, Ireland, Nordic Region for Project Business in UK, Ireland, Nordic Region to support the integration of new and existing technologies and grow the business within the region. The position is part of the new “projects” group in the commercial organization of DuPont Water Solutions. This committed role will provide a challenging mixture of commercial and technical activities to accelerate project growth with new integrated product lines.

The Sales Leader is accountable:

  • For identification, creation and development of new UF/MBR/RO growth opportunities for the business across the territory

  • Maintain and expand the aftermarket business in the region

  • Generation of a robust order pipeline and sales revenue across UK/Ireland and deliver consistent revenue and volume growth.

  • Successful implementation and execution of UF/MBR/RO projects within the region.

The Sales Leader is expected to:

  • Manage the commercial and technical relationships in the assigned territory with key stakeholders such as OEMS, institutes consultants and end-customer to deliver the sales & profitability targets.

  • Proactive, profitable and successful management of MBR/UF/RO opportunities & projects from identification to execution by involving all necessary functions within the organization

  • Deliver/exceed plan revenue for given year

  • Support OEMs/Customers to specify our products on the selective projects – “value selling”

  • Provide profound technical and commercial support (UF/MBR/RO) for the KAM/CDM within the region.

  • Fully support implementation of the new portfolio in key markets and with key customers to accelerate & maximize growth for all technologies

Primary responsibilities of the Sales Leader include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide expert technical support to end users and OEMs to position DuPont best in class products

  • Prepare technical and commercial offers based on company standards

  • Work with typical UF/MBR/RO sizing and pricing models

  • Negotiate technical and commercial contracts, related prices & conditions

  • Team up with internal functions such as but not limited to Customer Service and Technology Development teams, to ensure appropriate services and tailored solutions are granted to the Customers in a timely manner

  • Seek and continuously develop knowledge and information about the market and competitor activity

  • Support the implementation of the global go-to-market strategy for the integrated UF/MBR portfolio within the region

  • Support the regional commercial team and large project team to influence key stakeholders such as OEMs, Consultants, Institutions, End-Customer to specify DuPont products

  • Manage the OEM/EPC and End-Customer in the region in developing MultiTech projects utilizing DuPont products

  • Promotional activities - Handle individual customer calls and training, technical seminars, tradeshows and direct mailing. Ensure timely and quality response to the Request from customers and ensure that documentation meets world-class standards.

  • Provide feedback to strategic marketing, technical service and R&D for product improvement and development opportunities.

  • Update market information and analyze segments opportunities to develop new customers for DWS

  • Participate on account teams to improve customer payment habits, as necessary

  • Plan, forecast, report on sales and business performance according to company requirements

  • Participate in monthly sales and operation planning meetings to provide insight into market trends and sales progress.

  • Develop and track UF/MBR opportunities and projects within the region; recording pipeline and projects in salesforce.com

  • Understand and develop early access to the full buying center of projects and customers.

  • Develop key stake holders’ relationships and understand critical performance requirements to promote success and create competitive advantage.

  • Seek to thoroughly understand the customer's business environment, needs and value chain participation.

  • Work in agile fashion across regions and functions to foster and drive collaboration and enable business success

  • Creation and conversion of an opportunity pipeline, maximizing in-year revenue and building future pipeline.

  • Solid technical understanding of UF/MBR & RO technologies and related pre-and post- treatment options (ability to make technical recommendations, designs, start up support and troubleshooting).

  • Independent decision making and proactive problem solving

  • Proven ability to perform under pressure

  • Teamwork, ability to work cross regions and across functions

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and inherent drive to make an impact

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business.

  • Several years of experience in commercial/technical functions, such as Sales, Technical Sales, Technical Service or Project Management in water treatment is required

  • Relevant commercial & technical experience with UF/MBR & RO Technologies beneficial

  • Fluent in English, other languages highly welcome

  • Readiness to attend extended business trips, up to 50% of the time
