The Vehicle System Experiment department in Nissan is looking for a new Graduate who is passionate about engineering our next generations of vehicles!!!
Working for the Global automotive company Nissan at its European R&D centre (NTCE) based near Milton Keynes and Cranfield University, you’ll play a key role in our push towards electrification, resolving the challenges and opportunities this creates to enhance our customer experience of the whole vehicle. As a global company there are potential opportunities to travel and gain experience from the various well-established departments across the world.
Degree qualified, ideally in a related engineering discipline, we’re looking to implement and develop the skills and career of successful candidates that can drive us towards in this area of Vehicle test engineering.
We have an open position initially within our vehicle interior and exterior test team for a candidate with good qualifications, proven appetite for automotive engineering and a proven team player mind-set.
The role will cover digital and physical phase test validation into the lifecycle of the project. The ideal candidate will be required to evaluate and deliver target levels of quality our customers expect and deserve within a strict project timing. You will be required to learn and display capability covering benchmarking, target setting, vehicle development test and market concern analysis and countermeasure activities. As well as desk-based Engineering you will be working hands on with vehicles evaluating and developing countermeasures for vehicle system concerns on proving ground and within our extensive in-house testing facilities.
The successful candidate will initially be supported through a 2-year graduate training program as well as supported in their allocated role to deeply understand the purpose and methodology of automotive testing. The Graduate Scheme

There will be lots of opportunity for learning on the job from our highly skilled and experienced Engineers and the scheme also has training programme, which focuses on supporting you in the transition from University into the workplace and providing the skills and knowledge to help you on your way to moving into an Engineer role after 2 years.
What you’ll need to be successful
2:1 Degree in an Engineering or related subject
Ideally some previous work experience in Engineering, either on placement, work experience and through volunteering
Working with honesty and integrity
A good communicator
