Deutsche Bank Management Consulting (DBMC) is the Bank’s go-to in-house management consulting global function. We partner with senior executive teams across the Bank to help define and operationalise their strategy and transformation goals and deliver impact. Our project portfolio covers a wide range of topics, from defining business strategy, to driving innovation and growth, to organisational transformation, to cost optimisation, to risk reduction and many other pressing issues across all areas of the Bank.

You will work in small teams of consultants (typically 3-5) who work closely with our in-ternal clients to help identify and articulate problems, develop hypotheses and problem-solving frameworks, test hypotheses backed by facts and figures, identify solutions and recommendations, articulate them effectively to obtain stakeholder buy-in, and at times, if necessary, implement solutions in a sustainable way.
We are looking for consultants across various levels to join our team in London to help drive the strategy and transformation agenda for the Bank. We have a range of roles available to fit your skills, ambition, and experience levels such as the following:
Analyst level Consultant: You have recently graduated from college and are looking for a foundation in consulting and understanding the banking business.
Associate level Consultant: You have relevant professional experience in a management consulting or equivalent strategic role. You have experience working in a project-based environment and are able to independently drive and deliver tasks assigned to you.
Associate Vice President level Consultant): You have previous relevant professional experience in a management consulting or equivalent strategic role. You have experience leading streams of work as part of a project team.
Vice President level Engagement Manager: You have previous relevant experience in a management consulting or equivalent strategic role, and have experience leading projects, teams, and clients.

Your key responsibilities
- Responsible for shaping, leading, and delivering strategic and transformational client engagements, often multiple projects at a time
- Responsible for bringing structure to ambiguous problems through appropriate frameworks and methodologies and solve them pragmatically to deliver sustainable outcomes
- Responsible for leading cross-functional teams that often include cross-regional Deutsche Bank Management Consultant (DBMC) teams, and external vendors/third parties
- Responsible for leading, partnering with, advising, and influencing multiple senior clients across the Bank
- You will, in addition to leading project teams, be responsible for line managing, coaching, and developing DBMC staff
- Acting as an unbiased advisor for clients, listen, bring challenge when necessary, bring transparency, ensure accountability, drive collaboration
Your skills and experience
- Educated to Bachelor's/ advanced graduate degree or equivalent qualification/work experience
- You have excellent problem structuring skills with the ability to break down problems and solve them via sound analytical thinking
- You are comfortable working in an ambiguous, changing environment
- You enjoy working in a diverse cross-regional team and have an inclusive attitude to engage people within DBMC and across the wider organisation
- You are able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide range of stakeholders. German language is a plus
- You have excellent conflict resolution skills and like to convince others of your ideas and solution proposals to advance topics
- You attach great importance to your further education and learning
- You believe in continuous improvement and enjoy contributing to the evolution of the consulting practice
- You enjoy coaching and developing others in your team or the broader team
