CANPACK is a leading manufacturer of aluminium beverage cans. We have the latest manufacturing equipment and control technology. We are able to produce very high-quality cans in 15cl, 25cl, 33cl, 44cl and 50cl sizes (other size cans are made within Can Pack Group).

This position is working on a rotating shift pattern 8am-8pm, 8pm-8am.
The duties of this post include:
· Machine operation.
· Experience using counterbalance forklift truck – will be an advantage.
· To inspect the technical state of the machines.
· To report any technical faults and breakdowns.
· To carry out periodic inspections of the used equipment.
· To keep constant production in accordance to quality and quantity specifications.
· To keep the working area clean and tidy.
· To register quality and technical records.
Comply with all environmental requirements as stipulated in ISO 14001 and BRC procedures and guidelines on health & safety.
· Comply with all health & safety regulations, rules, procedures, and policies.
· Always using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
· Co-operation with supervisor and other workers on both production lines.
· Support other leaders/operator’s colleagues in the continuation of production at both lines, for example varnish changes etc. Able to provide absence cover if required and help during changeovers etc., on both production lines.
· To keep records and if required samples of any quality issues.
· To assist with the control of production and quality specification.
· To keep maintain continuity of production.
· Cooperation with Other Departments.
The successful candidate must have:
· Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
· The ability to complete documentation.
· Previous machine operator experience.
· Ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines and follow specifications.
· Ability to work as a part of a team.

Genetic information and biometric data (such as finger print access etc).Sources of personal data. We collect personal information about you through the application and recruitment
process, either directly from you or from an employment agency or background check provider. We may sometimes collect additional information from third parties including former employers and credit reference agencies.
We also collect additional personal information in the course of job-related activities throughout the period you are working for us.
Our lawful bases for processing your data.
We will use your personal information in the following circumstances:
Where we need to perform the contract, we have entered into with you.

Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests or those of a third party and
your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.
Some special categories of personal data, such as information about health or
medical conditions, is processed to carry out employment law obligations (such as those in relation to employees with disabilities), or where the processing is

assessment of the working capacity of the employee, medical diagnosis, the
provision of health or social care or treatment or the management of health or social care systems and services or pursuant to a contract with a health professional. If CPUK processes other special categories of personal data, such as information about ethnic origin, this is done for the purposes of equal opportunities monitoring. This is on the basis of carrying out CPUK’s obligations and specific rights in the field of employment law.

Administering the contract we have entered into with you, Business management and planning, including accounting and auditing

Some of the above grounds for processing will overlap and there may be several grounds which justify our use of your personal information
Who has access to your data CPUK may share the personal data to other CANPACK Group entities for purposes of intra-group cooperation, in particular CANPACK Group parent company CANPACK S.A. with registered seat in Poland. CANPACK S.A. may share the personal data with CANPACK Group parent company Giorgi Global Holdings, Inc. in the USA as part its supervision over CANPACK Group as well as for purposes of global cooperation aiming at following consistent and transparent global functional and business strategies, which is a standard procedure in international capital groups. Employees’ personal data are transferred to the extent necessary for the
supervision and the cooperation. Please note that GGH is subject to the same global IT security policies and procedures as the ones binding at CANPACK Group and uses the same global, adequately protected systems.
To the extent necessary to conduct and protect CANPACK Group business activity, personal data may also be shared with customers and suppliers (including equipment and services suppliers, IT services providers, cloud providers, audit and legal services suppliers, travelling agencies, etc.) outside the European Economic Area (EEA). The safeguards that we use to protect cross-border data processing
include in particular:
a) standard contractual clauses for protection of personal data approved by the
European Commission a appropriate and suitable safeguards for the transfer.

b) certifications which demonstrate that third parties outside the EEA process
personal data in a way that is consistent with the European General Data

In certain cases, the personal data may also be transferred outside the EEA upon Employee’s consent (Article 49.1. a) of the GDPR) or if necessary for the
performance of the employment agreement (Article 49.1. b) of the GDPR) or if
necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims (Article 49. 1. e)
of the GDPR).
When processed outside the EEA, CANPACK will take reasonable steps to ensure that this cross-border data processing is protected by adequate safeguards. We may share your personal information with third parties where required by law, where it is necessary to administer the working relationship with you or where we have another legitimate interest in doing so.
Other Recipients of your data may include third-party service providers (such as payroll and pensions providers); other related business entities; a regulator or to otherwise comply with the law. Where we do so, we will require third parties to respect the security of your data and to treat it in accordance with the law. Security of your data;
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal information from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal information to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know.
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected data security breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected breach where we are legally required to do so.
How we decide how long to retain your data;
We will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.
Your rights - You have the right to:
Request access to, and a copy of, your personal information
Request correction of the personal information that we hold about you
Request erasure or restriction of processing of your personal information.
Object to processing of your personal information where we are relying on a
legitimate interest (or those of a third party) and there is something about
your particular situation which makes you want to object to processing on
this ground. You also have the right to object where we are processing your
personal information for direct marketing purposes
Request a copy of your personal data to be transferred in a structured,
commonly used and machine readable format, in certain circumstances.
If you believe that we have not complied with your rights, you can complain to the Information Commissioner ICO.
What if you do not provide personal data?
If you do not provide personal data, it is likely to be impossible for us to enter into, or to continue with, an employment relationship with you.
Automated decision-making
We may in the future make use of electronic automated decision-making systems. We would only do so in the following circumstances:
where we have notified you of the decision and given you 21 days to request
reconsideration where it is necessary to perform the contract with you and appropriate measures are in place to safeguard your rights in limited circumstances, with your explicit written consent and where appropriate measures are in place to safeguard your rights
