Qualifications
- Experience in digital print and digital print machinery
- Some graphic design experience
We are a small, family run printing company based in West Kingsdown, Kent. Established since 1995 we have recently relocated from London and looking for some support for our studio manager in our new premises. The job role is varied and experience / limited experience will be considered as some training will be provided.
The job role is predominantly Mac & PC Artworker / Digital printer (for small amends and occasional artworking) / Repro Operator with or without experience but with time this will be expanded into running the digital press.
Good planning skills would be ideal, as well as a good understanding of the various print processes.
Type of work: checking client artwork and prepping for print which varies from Business Card, Flyers, Posters, Roller Banner, Book, corporate publications, etc..
Key Skills / Responsibilities:
· Indesign , Photoshop. Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft office etc…
· To ensure all repro is being created correctly to specification and to specific print processes

· Provide support to the Studio Manager in carrying out any duties
· To provide artwork / reprographics to a specific Brand or client Spec
· Offer any technical support to colleagues
· Have knowledge and experience or artwork / reprographics and the pre-press processes
· Have the ability to understanding brand guidelines and provide artwork within those guidelines
· Fully Conversant with Mac & PC
· Communicate any corporate brand changes with the rest of the team and also keep them updated with the workflow progress
· Excellent communication skills, project manage the artwork process, produce artwork files
· Document any changing processes and procedures
Helping maintain digital press and a tidy work area
Re-stocking items when required
Helping in all other departments when needed
· Assist in housing keeping studio systems and equipment
· Ability to communicate and build rapport effectively

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift, 5 days per week. Overtime will be expected in busy periods and at short notice
