REED Education is working in partnership with a lovely school in Croydon, it is a vibrant and inclusive educational institution dedicated to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our students. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS1/KS2 Teacher to join our team and inspire young minds.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess creative and engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students in KS1/KS2.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning and supports the social and emotional development of students.
- Implement the school's curriculum and provide differentiated instruction to ensure academic progress and achievement for all students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the school's curriculum and teaching practices.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents/guardians.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians, attending parent-teacher meetings and providing timely updates on student performance.
- Foster a safe and respectful learning environment, promoting positive behavior management strategies.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching skills and stay abreast of educational trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
- Experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2, with a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
- Passion for education and a commitment to providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and promotes a love for learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents/guardians, and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to plan and deliver lessons effectively and meet deadlines.
- Dedication to continuous professional development and a willingness to embrace new teaching strategies and technologies.
