The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to help build out our cloud platform. The role will involve working with data scientists, python engineers, and I.T. professionals to develop and deliver full stack data science tools and applications within the business.
You’ll be working in an agile team collaboratively planning and implementing stories and strategies for improving all aspects of the infrastructure, such as our Google Cloud platform, CI/CD pipelines, and security tooling.
You’ll have a progressive attitude to delivering software and infrastructure, appreciating the importance of automating all aspects of the stack in an agile manner. You’ll combine understanding of the fundamentals of Linux systems and security principles, with a keen interest in the latest technologies and approaches to delivering software.
Your responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to:
We are looking for an individual with a subset (not necessarily all) of the following:
Experience building infrastructure with Terraform
Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure
Experience in automated deployments and continuous integration
Knowledge of version control
Hands-on with Python as scripting language
Good communication skills
