Individual contributors with responsibility in software application support. Performs routine assignments in the entry level of the IT Analyst career stream. Has conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures of information technology typically acquired through a college or university degree or the equivalent work experience. Develops competence by performing structured work assignments. Provides direct application support, updating and maintaining system configuration and application settings and using existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems. Receives instruction, guidance and direction from more senior level roles.
- Performs, coordinates and/or assists other staff in the installation, maintenance, and modification of Health System applications to meet customer and Health System requirements.
- Communicates technical requirements to teammates and management and provides assistance to teammates in an effort to enhance the overall services provided by the team.
- Maintains or develops application and process documentation.
- Assignments and tasks are completed according to established standards within the assigned timeframe, with guidance from more senior staff as needed. Includes use of project management and service management tools.
- Solutions developed or modified are thoroughly tested to prevent production implementation problems.
- Communicates appropriately and professionally at all times.
- In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
Position Compensation Range: $24.72 - $39.55 Hourly
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: 0 - 3 years relevant experience.
Licensure: None required.
