Key Job Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced Instrument and Protective Systems (I&PS) Engineer who has a good understanding of IEC 61511 SIS Lifecycle model and has working knowledge and experience of the key SIS Lifecycle activities.

Participate in HAZOP \ CHAZOP Activities.

Participate in Deterministic SIL Workshops as C&I Engineer.

Develop SRS – Safety Requirements Specification.

Develop SIS Safety Lifecycle Plan \ Functional Safety Management Plan.

Carry out SIL Verification using simplified equations.

Experience is use of proven tools such as TRAC \ ExSILentia for SIL Verification.

Evaluation and verification of HIPPS Systems.

Produce SIS Proof Test Procedures for end to end testing of the entire SIF Loop.

Development of Maintenance strategies for Layers of Protections where credit has been taken as part of Risk Assessment \ SIL workshop.

Assist with producing ARM – Alarm Response Manual.

Review of HMI Philosophy for SIS.

Work on Onshore and Offshore projects (Upstream, Midstream and Downstream).

Modelling of complex SIS Loops using Fault Trees.

Familiar with Failure Mode Effect Analysis.
Qualification and Other Requirements:
The candidate will have a Master’s degree, Chartered Engineers will be given preference. CFSE or TUV certified engineers will proven experience will be considered.
