We are looking for a full-time Digital Marketing Assistant to work at the legendary GAK Music Emporium in Brighton. You’ll need to love music, be a creative thinker, have excellent written and communication skills and be someone who can bring their expertise and experience into the creation, planning and implementation of highly engaging campaigns for our brand.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working as part of a close-knit team, you will be responsible for a wide range of different duties including content creation, graphic work, helping manage multiple social media channels, blog writing, all online & offline marketing and driving leads to the GAK website. Main Responsibilities:

  • Create, develop and implement social strategies for our brands
  • Creative writing for product listings, blogs, social posts
  • Graphic Design - creating content for social posts, the website and advertising
  • Product photography
  • Assisting with the creation of video content

Personal Profile:

  • Passion for music and the musical gear industry
  • Love social media and be excited by developments, trends and how other brands communicate socially
  • Team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful connections both with our brands and customers
  • Can-do attitude with a creative, innovative and resourceful mindset
  • Multi-tasker with attention to detail and deadlines
  • Great with data and able to identify trends and learnings from the numbers

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Social Media Management: 1 year (preferred)
  • Some knowledge of the Adobe Suite in particular Photoshop, Lightroom & Premiere
  • Excellent written English
  • Knowledge of DSLR cameras and editing software.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML

Location: Brighton, East Sussex; Hybrid

Full-time Salary: £20,592.00 - £22,000.00 per year

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate: Brighton, BN2 3QD: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
