Job Description
About us
We are a small international team of business consultants helping companies to put sustainability at the top of their agenda. We try to be professional and supportive, doing our best to walk our talk and reflect on how we can improve.
Our work environment includes:
- Business seminars, internal/client workshops and trade shows (in-person and online globally)
- Individual and group coaching and mentoring programmes (in person and online)
- Flexible hours (at events or working from home)
- Casual work attire (except when meeting external stakeholders)
Are you passionate about helping make a difference in the world? Do you believe that all companies are corrupt and guilty of greenwashing? Or are they stuck in the System where each week is filled with dilemmas and choices?
Our target clients are enlightened engineers, business leaders who care deeply for their people and the planet that sustains us all.
We want to tell the human story of the people with the power to really make a difference. Starting at home, we are looking for someone to help us tell our own human story of the day-to-day struggles trying to do business ethically. You'll help us publish online news of our small victories and reflections on what we need to do better. You'll write a personal diary and this will be your story as well as ours. Our audience will gasp when we stumble and cheer when we pick ourselves up again.
The selected candidate will be a freelance writer with excellent written and spoken English that is accurate, creative and friendly. You'll probably have a science or business degree and some formal training as a journalist covering legal pitfalls, with a small portfolio of contributions to trade press or other online business publications. Spanish or other languages would be an advantage but are not essential.
Supported by experienced senior journalists, you'll interview our consultants, supporters and clients and publish online. Our publishing operation will begin small and expand as we grow, with the possibility for you to increase your hours or work alongside other content creators.
