We are recruiting for an experienced Executive PA to be based at our London office. This is a busy, varied role supporting a member of the Nationwide Executive Committee. You’ll have strong experience working within a similar role at this level, be highly organised and able to work well under pressure with exceptional attention to detail.
This role would suit an energetic, motivated and flexible individual with confidence and a proactive nature who is particularly adept at prioritisation.

- Providing full diary management to Executive Committee member including appointment/meeting arrangements (reprioritising as needed) complex travel schedules, triage and overall forward planning.
- Providing support with communications, events, general logistics (such as room/venue booking) and ad hoc requests where required.
- Providing support to Executive Committee member with all committee meetings (including Executive Committee, Board etc) and external event preparation, ensuring appropriate forward planning.
- Supporting with the onboarding of new members of the Community leadership team
- Providing inbox management (responding where appropriate) and excellent customer/contact management. Screen, prioritise and direct calls and emails to direct reports / team as appropriate.
- Managing information flow from and to the Executive both timely and accurately.
- Reviewing and format information for internal and external meetings/communications as required.
- Managing monthly expenses, invoices and HR administration for Executive Committee member.
- Providing basic IT support and guidance to Executive Committee member.
- Maintaining up to date organisational material (e.g., structure charts) and Teams sites.
- Supporting the Executive Committee member with the management and operational support of the Community leadership team on a daily basis including team absenteeism, expenses, team communications and requisitions. Attending senior team meetings, manage agendas and prepare accompanying paperwork.
- Providing support to meetings where needed – such as taking minutes / actions and tracking progress.
- Supporting the Community leadership team with general administration duties including IT and stationery requests.
- Providing a highly professional, proactive service, with incredibly high standards, flexibility, agility, integrity and discretion.
As a minimum you will :
- Previous Executive PA experience (Board / Executive Committee level)
- Possess highly developed organisational, prioritisation and problem-solving skills
- Have a highly professional approach
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Be self-motivated, proactive and able to work on own initiative
- Be well versed with Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
- Constantly operate with confidentiality, integrity, good judgement, flexibility, agility and discretion
- Handle a wide range of activities and confidential matters with discretion
- Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Be calm and logical under pressure
