The position
By joining our team in Communication you will have the opportunity to:
- Provide internal and external communications to support positioning of Equinor’s renewable portfolio in the US, including operated wind assets, projects under development and new lease rounds, as well as other low carbon initiatives and projects.
- Be responsible for the planning and execution of high-profile conferences and events in collaboration with specialist external agency.
- Develop compelling story-telling content to support increased engagement on various communication channels, including internal articles, newsletters, website content, social media content and video clips
- Work with the wider communication team to create and plan external communication strategies and campaigns to enhance the Company’s profile
This is an excellent role if you are looking to draw upon experience with event planning, government advance work or conference services, while seeking to utilize a broader set of communications skills, which may include writing, branding, social media or other content development. - Minimum 5 years of experience within the field of communications
- University degree at Bachelor or Masters level in relevant field of communication or other relevant field.
- Event planning experience or support of event planning essential. This may include government advance or conference services experience.
- Detail-oriented with an ability to demonstrate examples of events or conferences managed previously.
- Excellent communication and writing skills with an ability to demonstrate strategic use of different communication channels/formats.
- Understanding of the energy sector, particularly the offshore wind industry, would be desirable but not essential.
