EUC / Workplace Architect
Full Time / Permanent
Salary: £70k-£95k base + benefits package NEG
Location offices to choose from: either London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Wales, Liverpool or Sheffield (remote for now)
You will need to be fully UK Mobile as and when required.
As an established and approved tech hiring partner to one of the leading global consultancies, we have been asked to assist in the hire of an Enterprise EUC Architect. The team work on a wide range of projects, across a wide range of clients in all sectors.
Skills
- Computer hardware and accessories (laptop, desktop, workstation, docking station, …)
- Virtualization solutions (VDI, local hypervisor, IAAS, …)
- OS and software lifecycle management (Windows/Office/browser, etc. upgrades and other major changes …)
- Endpoint security and compliance (antivirus, firewall, disk encryption, data protection, …)
- Endpoint management (remote control, inventory, application publication, updates, … through SCCM on-premise and cloud)
- Endpoint connectivity (VPN, Wi-Fi, …)
- Endpoint monitoring and diagnostic (average consumption of physical resources, system problems, application problems, … using Nexthink or other real-time analytics, instant remediation and automation tools)
- Standard Operating Environment (Windows 7, Windows 10, RHEL, …)
- Device provisioning (offline / online imaging, factory imaging, zero master, …)
- Office and other productivity software (Office 365 Pro Plus productivity suite, …)
- Printers and Printing services (Printer management, SMTP, consumables monitoring, follow-me printing, …)
- User Experience (device boot time, device performance, nomad experience, service delivery time, …)
- Application delivery (Software packaging, Application Store, …)
- Service catalogue management (user profiling, demands, …)
- The candidate will need to be able to gain security clearance for government work; this process can take place once they have joined Capgemini but any job offer will be dependent on SC clearance being obtained.
