Careers in OME UK with Thales UK

These opportunities are for our Thales UK Optronics & Missile Electronics (OME) organisation and directly contribute to the on-going development of the Land, Sea and Air products and systems. Defence and armed forces customers rely on us to deliver their full range of defensive systems. From night vision goggles, hand-held thermal imagers and weapon sights to surveillance UAVs and soldier-worn power and data solutions - our teams are endlessly supporting innovation evolution of a whole array of products! We currently have a number of entry level opportunities across Engineering (Systems, Hardware and Software). We are keen to hear from candidates who have recently graduated or maybe you have just started out in Systems, Hardware or Software and now looking for a new challenge in an exciting company where you can really develop and build a career.

Typical Benefits (items can vary depending on your LR grade)

  • Pension – Thales match, plus 1%, with a max contribution of 7%
  • Health Insurance – 50% of Salary for 5 years

  • Annual Leave 201 hours + 1 Company day (27 Days + Bank Holidays)
  • 37 hour week with a half day Friday
