The new premises is well equipped, well ventilated and has the greatest variety of precious metal plating tanks in the UK and Europe.
Specialising in a plethora of luxury finishes in gold, silver, rhodium, chrome, nickel, copper, and antique plating for a variety of applications.
Lamberts London is synonymous with luxury decorative metal plated coatings across a number of sectors, including aerospace, automotive, interior design, super yacht and sports, in addition to critical plated coatings for oil, gas and electrical applications. 2.0 The Role
You will be working in a busy plating and jigging department at this prestigious Aerospace company that has a reputation for high quality and superb finishes. As an Electroplating Technician, you will learn this craft from a range of highly skilled professionals.
We will create a bespoke training plan to your skillset and needs and under the tutelage of our staff we will help you flourish in this specialist highly sought-after industry.
The Plating department is a large, well-ventilated space and is fully fitted with Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems and monsoon fans.
Annual biological monitoring, LEV testing and Occupational Health testing is conducted to ensure your safety. You will also be fully provided with all of the PPE that you require to perform your job safely.
All work is carried out to AS9100 standard, which is an aerospace standard based on the ISO 9001 quality system requirements. The company also works to ISO14001 Environmental Management System and ISO45001 Occupational Health and Safety System.
Reporting directly to the WIP/Production Orders Manager, you will be working on parts for luxury first class suites of airlines, Prestige automotive brands and super yachts, among other interesting, high-quality parts. You will be working independently and as part of a team to ensure that deadlines are met, and the work is completed to the best standard possible.
You will wire the metal parts on to jigs so that the product can be lowered into the plating tanks. You will then be running the jigs through the various plating tank lines, required by the process, to apply the plating finishes to the part.
Lamberts London Limited uses real metal in our plating solutions and as such you will be working with expensive solutions. You will be directly responsible for transforming aluminium, brass or steel components to Gold, Silver, Rhodium and many other exclusive finishes.
Once plated, you will then be involved in cleaning the product prior to the final polish and lacquer. You will look over your work for defects, before passing it on to the dedicated inspection department for checking.
You will be passionate about achieving, proud of your work and willing to learn a new skill. You must be enthusiastic, approachable and be receptive to instruction whilst remaining competent in working on your own initiative.
You must be confident in your abilities, in particular, your attention to detail in producing an outstanding quality product.
You may be asked to assist in other roles in the process where necessary.
This is an active role and so you will be on your feet for much of the day.

4.0 Package
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: Permanent with a Probation Period of 12 worked weeks = 60 working days
- Rate: £10.00 - £11.50 an hour
- Annual Salary (Range): £20,540 - £23,621 per annum depending on skills and experience.
- Hours: 39.5 hours a week
- Weekly Schedule: Monday – Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break and a morning tea break; Friday 7:30am to 1:00pm with a morning tea break
- Overtime: Monday to Friday - 6.30am - 8.00am and 4.30pm - 5.00pm = 1.5 hours a day at Time & Half
