Domiciliary Care Worker

Rate per hour:
· £11.20/Hr for Senior Carer
· £10.50/Hr for Junior Carers (partially trained and with less than 2 years’ experience)
Specific Responsibilities
· Assist/support service users in their own homes by undertaking tasks based on individual need and specific to individual care or support plans.
· The tasks may include assisting with:
o Moving in and out of bed, making the bed and with daily dressing.
o Washing, bathing, toileting, and showering.
o Taking medication in accordance with Sihara Care policy.
o Any other practical/domestic duties as required.
· Identify any risks within the home and report these to your line manager or care coordinator.
· Complete the hours and tasks allocated by your line manager or care coordinator and work as part of a rota.
· Maintain records as required.
· Report and record any changes in the service user’s health or other conditions
· Participate in the following
o a formal induction
o supervision with Line Manager.
o training as required
· Work effectively as part of a team.
· Follow all Sihara Care policies & procedures and maintain agreed standards.
· Work within the Vision, Mission & Values of the Sihara Care in all aspects of the job and be able to demonstrate these in the course of daily work.
· Carry out any other duties which may be allocated from time to time.
