Your new team
This position sits in our Pernod Ricard UK (PRUK) business. As a member of the marketing department, you will work cross functionally to ensure our brands are present and play an active role in the moments that matter in consumers lives. You will have a commitment to efficiency and ROI, to learning and improving and sharing best practice across the department to enable us to accelerate our performance.
You will have a clear view of the big initiatives that will accelerate growth for our business, from A&P investment, performance marketing & technology diversification and you will focus on delivering these with impact so we can achieve our goal.
Your unique contribution
You will have 3 main areas of responsibility:
  • Campaign Management: Be responsible for the end-to-end process of campaign (across digital but able to support across other ATL channels) delivery from design, set up to full campaign management and delivery. Working very closely with our brand teams, media agency & partners.
  • Digital Excellence:
    • Implement Brilliant basics across our campaigns i.e. campaign taxonomy, UTM’s, floodlights and pixels.
    • Manage direct media relationships with leading players such as Facebook and Google, including direct buys (search, programmatic, display), ensuring that we are implementing best class practices and leveraging JBP’s to their full extent.
  • Strategy: Support the lab lead in executing our media strategy, which focusses on how we can accelerate within digital & beyond. This requires a good understanding of core tech– DSP’s, CDP, and Google analytics. Keep close to all the landscape changes i.e. cookie depreciation, brand safety guidelines, ecomm/performance marketing opportunities.

Your blend of talent
This position could be right for you if you:
Are a subject matter expert in digital media; with expertise in programmatic, paid search and paid social. The candidate should be able to demonstrate either agency or client-side experience within media. The candidate should have a good understanding of how people are consuming media, key platforms, and trends & shifts.
Specifically, the individual must be able to demonstrate their ability to manage workloads across varying projects/brands due to our extensive portfolio. The candidate needs to be a team player who feels comfortable collaborating with individuals with varying degrees of media knowledge and seniority. A large requirement of the role will be to upskill team members through both on the job & specific trainings.
A huge part of our ambition is to focus on how we can accelerate with digital and prepare ourselves for the future i.e., demise of cookies, so it’s crucial for the candidate to be a digital first & creative thinker, capable of putting in place best in class test & learns.
A large part of the job will entail working very closely with our media agency and building outcampaign strategies, so candidate must be able to evaluate media plans, collate feedback and put forward recommendations. In addition to this, the candidate must be able to identify core KPI’s and performance against these and find ways of optimising our campaigns.
