Digital Marketing – Content creator
About the role:
This role will involve working across the NEoffers.co.uk group which includes NEoffers.co.uk, NorthEastUpdates.com (and the brand new YouTube channel), TodaysBigDeals.co.uk and NEbubblefootball.co.uk across a broad range of social media, digital marketing and content creation responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
It will involve working along side our Digital Marketing team member to assist digital marketing responsibilities across the group to grow the reach and audience for all businesses with a broad and diverse range of responsibilities.
The role will also involve creating content for our North East Updates both social media and our YouTube channel which will include everything North East including sport coverage, history, news, events and more.
The successful candidate will also grow our social media accounts which include the highly popular North East Updates, Newcastle Supporters Worldwide and many more popular local accounts. The role will also occasionally involve reaching out to local businesses to sell advertising for the group.
Our office is based next to Regent centre metro and bus station in Gosforth which is ideal for those who use public transport, office parking is also available.
Essential Candidate requirements
- Experience developing and managing social media campaigns across channels such as Twitter, Facebook, TikTok and Instagram.
- Research new online media opportunities that may benefit the business including mobile, social media, development of YouTube and content.
- Comfortable on camera to conduct interviews and produce content for YouTube.
- Develop creative ideas, suggest new innovative ways of delivering digital content and keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends.
- Capable in developing and implementing strategies in driving traffic to websites.
- Conduct keyword research and web statistics reporting.
- Understanding of digital analytics and metrics.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and structure work schedules.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Attend North East events and cover sports games when appropriate.
- Energy, enthusiasm and proven experience in producing digital content and digital best practice.
- A real passion for social media, digital marketing and promoting all things North East.
Ideal candidate requirements
- Have YouTube knowledge and experience on the YouTube platform.
- Ideally 12 months + experience in digital marketing or relevant digital marketing qualification.
- Have a strong knowledge of Newcastle united football club and keep up to date with up to date activity.
- Experience of photography and creating/editing images, using packages such as Adobe Photoshop.
- Experience of video production, including filming or editing.
Salary: Competitive
Hours: 30-35 hours per week
Location: Dobson House, Regent Centre, Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE33PF (next to metro and bus station)

Part-time hours: 30-35 per week
Salary: £4.81-£9.50 per hour
