The Dealer Services Telephony Team is an integral part of our Motor Servicing operation. We provide support to our Dealers, Field Staff and Internal Operations departments over the telephone and on email.
If you enjoy working in a busy, fast paced environment and are looking for a new challenge which involves helping others with the ability to communicate clearly, adapt to change and demonstrate patience then a Dealer Services Advisor is a fantastic opportunity for you.
The starting salary for this role is £22,000 and you have the opportunity to progress to over £25,000 by progressing through a voluntary upskilling programme. We pride ourselves on developing individuals in their career to be the best that they can be to support our customers in all aspects, so the queries that you will handle will range from simple to complex offering a diverse yet challenging inbound telephony role. You will have the opportunity to learn both customer and dealer servicing queries to expand your knowledge across Motor Servicing.
Our commitment to your work/life balance:
This role will be based in our Cardiff Office and you will be able to work a blend of both home and office each week once your initial training period is complete. You’ll be made to feel part of your team by all of your colleagues and have regular contact and virtual interaction whether in office or remote.
The working hours for this role are 35 hours a week with a shift pattern Monday to Sunday between the hours of 9 until 8pm weekdays, and shorter hours on weekends. Weekend working is 1 in 4 weekends. What would your day look like?

Providing exceptional customer service by taking incoming Dealer servicing calls in a pleasant contact centre environment.

Take ownership of queries, problem solving and using initiative to encourage first call resolution.

Recognising and responding to Dealer complaints in a timely manor, supporting a resolution as effectively as possible.

Pro-actively seeking to improve processes, procedures and customer experience across all channels.

Working collaboratively with Motor Operations to support all customer queries including underwriting and new business.
Essential Skills:

Experience in any customer servicing role, evidencing transferrable skills

A positive attitude to supporting resolutions and change

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

To be able to work under pressure and to expected deadlines

The use of initiative, attention to detail, problem solving and collaborative working
