Heritage Design is currently hiring for full-time Carpenter’s Helper, specializing in backyard construction (decks, fences, sheds, gazebos) to add to our talented staff currently servicing the Waterloo Region.

Job Responsibilities:
- Support experienced construction crew leads with the operation of various construction tools such as circular saw, table saw, air nailers, and other various construction tools.
- Load and unload lumber, building materials, equipment and tools when required to set up and clean up site
- Support installation crew and foreperson with general labour activities
- Work outside all year round during various weather conditions
Qualifications:
1-2 years in the deck/fence industry considered an asset. The Heritage team is willing to train candidates with equivalent experience in a similar industry.
Valid Driver’s Licence - a clean driver abstract is considered an asset.
Punctual, reliable and honest.
An eager attitude and a willingness to learn - lots of opportunities exist to advance within the company if desired.
A strong individual work ethic and ability to work with a team.
Excellent oral and written communications skills to work effectively with the crew, foreperson, and office staff.
Ability to work effectively in a safe manner.
