The IDAM programme is delivering a range of initiatives that cuts across the whole of the University of Bristol. The nature of these initiatives affects UoB organisational identities, HR policies, Security Policies, Business Processes, IT systems etc.
Given the complexities of the programme and its impact across all aspects of the UoB Operating model it is a requirement to define what the landscape will look like during transition/implementation of the Programme and the future or the target state that the capability is hoping to achieve. Further work to shape the IDAM strategy is required to deliver this.
The role of this specialist Business Analyst will be to work alongside the Programme manager and deliver the detail behind the current high-level roadmap; to focus and develop all of the Op model impacts
inclusive of all related processes, people, data, policy, Org design etc as well as working with the IT Solutions Architect to align to the technical solutions.
This will also include the extending of the roadmap post Programme delivery and support the transition/planning of the Op model into BAU.
The ability to interpret high level requirements across the IDAM projects and assess impact to the Op model, providing this as an overview.
Currently there is no experience within the BA that aligns to the skill set required to undertake this piece of work.
Candidate is to have experience in the developing of Target Operating Models (TOM) and transition states across a complex organisation; with the ability to assist in developing and aligning to the strategic vision being a key requirement of the candidate in particular within a digital/IT programme. Experience of working within a university environment and/or on a IDAM programme would be desirable but not essential.
