Job Description
We are a sales and distribution center for a silk screening Equipment manufacturer. We are looking for a full time Order Processing/ Shipping Clerk / Customer Service at our Newark, CA location.
Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
* Assist customers via email, internet, and phone with questions on features/benefits of the merchandise, orders, and payment.
* Fulfill wholesale and online orders (collect, pack, and ship customer orders daily via UPS, USPS, FedEx, and freight shipments).
* Inventory maintenance (receiving and verifying new item shipments, keeping inventory well-stocked and organized, organizing and managing inventory counts in warehouse.)
* Perform general clerical duties, including, but not limited to, database entry, emailing, mailing, filing, and answering telephones.
* Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
* Fluent in English and Chinese, including writing and verbal skills*
Computer literacy required, including basic knowledge of MS Office and QuickBooks
* Ability to communicate effectively. Past experience in customer service a plus
* Good writing, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, USPS and freight shipping.
* Reliable, trustworthy, responsible, punctual, and Safety Conscious.
* Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
* Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others
* A mature, self-motivated person with a positive, professional attitude
* Attentive to details, Willingness to learn.
