Product Range:
Ranging in format and market position within several key health + beauty categories including; personal bath, shower and bodycare, haircare, male grooming, skincare, fine fragrance and baby + maternity. A company acquisition in 2016 also extended the companies capabilities into home fragrance formats; candles, reed diffusers and room fragrances. Most recently the Coronavirus pandemic has meant we have significantly changed gear into the Sanitants market.

Working Days/Hours: Monday to Thursday 9am to 17.15, Friday 9am to 16.00. 37.5 hours per week.
Role Description
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Feather & Down team - the Nation's No. 1 sleep dedicated brand.
The brand has been achieving fantastic growth and recognition, gaining many new awards and wonderful PR across all platforms.
This role will be pivotal to support the Brand Manager in taking the brand to the next level of market penetration and awareness both in the UK and overseas markets in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Role Objective

Work with the Brand Manager to continually plan, develop, and improve brand strategy to ensure commercial development of the brand.

Executing marketing communications and activities.

Maintaining and developing a pipeline of ideas for brand development to improve in market competitiveness. Ideas based on market data and thorough analysis.

Ensure product development complies with legal, regulatory, and other standards as directed by the company.

Understand consumer needs within sector and how the brand is performing vs. other brands.

Understand target audience and segment market to target certain consumers to achieve profitable growth.

Excellent Communication of brand strategy to internally and externally.
Role Responsibilities
Working closely with the BM, in house creative teams and external agencies to plan out marketing campaigns, maintain Air table to reflect all brand marketing activity and brief in assets. Work closely with influencers and agencies, preparing and approving briefs. Scheduling posts across all platforms and new content to drive sales and awareness. Analysing activity data / ROI to improve on future strategy.

Sales and Commercial Management
presentation of brands to key customers (UK and globally) including ongoing management of brand and marketing activities direct with key customers.

NPD Management
Maintain and develop a pipeline of ideas for brand development to improve in market competitiveness. Support BM to generate NPD internally through the business by co-ordinating multi-functions and activities, including close liaison with buyers, packaging technologist, R&D, suppliers, and the customer. -
Brand Performance
Monitoring performance of brands/products and the active management of ranging in terms of high and low performers. -
Data Analysis
Be highly numerical and provide analysis across brands, interrogate EPOS, IRI and key customer data on a regular basis. Have advanced EXCEL skills

Qualifications

Ideally industry experience of working with FMCG brands – health + beauty industry preferred but not essential depending upon background and experience

Highly proficient in MS Office systems including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
