Basic Function:
Provide Field Support Management & Primary After Sales point of contact for the New Holland Distribution Network within Japan, being the interface between the Field and the internal organisation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supporting the importer network to better manage their service functions on a quality and timely basis:
On-going Service Capability Assessment through regular contact and review.
Identification of improvement area and follow up of implementation of actions identified.
Developing the importer attitude in providing professional machine installation training to the end users when delivering new equipment.
Checking that the correct maintenance procedures are applied to new machine inventory including Pre Delivery Inspections and procedures
- Developing the importer service capability particularly at the workshop level:
Advising / supporting the importer network with regard to workshop equipment and special tools.
On-going on-site training of importer workshop and field service personnel in administration and processes
Developing the importer capability to give superior service and fault diagnosis.
- Communicating with and supporting the importer in the resolution of technical problems relating to the timely repair of machinery in the field.
- Supporting and training the Importer network in the use of CNH Web based technical information systems.
- Warranty Claim Management. Monitor the system for potential high failure cases (Value & Instances). Identify any potential cases of abuse of the system and take necessary action to rectify:
On-going analysis and audit of Importer warranty claims
Provide support in the warranty training to the Importer network
- Continuous reporting to the Product Specialists of any widespread & significant failures on the CNH products within the territory designated.
- Support the Importer in the co-ordination and completion of Product Improvement Campaigns
- Co-ordinate and chair regular Aftersales and Quality reviews with the Importer staff
- Co-ordinate and chair regular Aftersales Business review with CNH Management
- Co-ordinate with the plants and Commercial Management on Quality and product configuration issues
- Co-ordinate with Commercial Management & Manufacturing Quality Functions for scheduled Joint PDI Activities with the Importer.
- Support the importer by representing the company as the single point of reference for all Aftersales business-related activities.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering.
- Agricultural background with sound knowledge of agricultural practices to include:- Precision Agriculture technologies and practices
- In depth knowledge of CNH range of Tractor products.
- Good working knowledge of full CNH range of Products & their application and operation in the market
- 3-5 years experience in service-related function or engineering
- Good customer service skills - Customer Relationship Management
- Fluent English language.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, with excellent written & verbal skills.
- Excellent PC Skills including:
MS Office and other PC based communication tools
Other PC Applications and programs including CNH Internal systems.
- Very High Level of working flexibility required:
Willingness to travel extensively
Willingness to travel at short notice and to work unsociable hours as required (seasonal effect, weekend and evening standby)
Willingness to travel to ‘long haul’ destinations.
- Self motivated and energetic.
