Are you a sales professional with an insatiable hunger for building and nurturing client relationships? We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Executive to join our team and make a significant impact in the ever-evolving world of client acquisition. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, driving revenue growth, and executing strategic sales initiatives within the esports industry.

Typical Workday at theScore:

  • Aggressively prospect new opportunities and potential brand partners at target companies and setting up meetings
  • Sell brand integrations into video franchises
  • Prepare sales strategies and proposals with content and sales support team
  • Responsible for establishing new points of contact at target companies and setting up meetings
  • Create and curate sales materials including decks and proposals
  • Collaborate with internal departments, in particular theScore esports video content team
  • Close deals! Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Other duties as required


  • 3+ years of sales experience, with an emphasis on outbound sales and knowledge of content sponsorships
  • Record of and ability to strategically prospect to create new outbound opportunities
  • Interest in the competitive gaming and social media landscape, including the activity of both endemic and non-endemic brands in the gaming space
  • Helpful but not necessary to have knowledge of the broader competitive gaming space, including tournaments, popular games and major organizations. You will use this knowledge to educate brands and partners on what differentiates theScore esports offering from the rest of the industry
  • Understanding of the online video space with knowledge of both VoD and live streaming
  • The ability to think creatively, identify sales opportunities and execute against those opportunities
  • Proven track record of working within a team to achieve organizational goals
  • Strong relationships with esports advertisers and great relationship building skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, assertive self starter
  • Passionate about gaming and esports!
